1. Information we collect
We don't ask you to create an account and we don't ask for your name, email address or other personal details to use the planner.
Addresses and places you search for
When you type an address, search for a place or plan a route, the text and map points you enter are sent to the third-party services that power the planner (listed below) so they can return search results and routes. We don't store your searches or routes on our own servers.
Information stored in your browser
We store a small note in your browser's local storage to remember that you've seen our cookie notice. It never leaves your device.
Server logs
Like almost every website, our hosting provider automatically records standard technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the time of the request. These logs are used for security and to keep the site running, and are kept only for a limited period.
Emails you send us
If you contact us by email, we'll use your email address and message only to reply to you.
2. Third-party services used by the planner
- OpenStreetMap and Esri: provide the map images you see. Your browser requests map tiles directly from their servers.
- Photon (Komoot): turns the addresses and place names you type into map locations.
- OSRM routing servers operated by FOSSGIS (routing.openstreetmap.de): calculate routes between the points you choose.
- Google Fonts and unpkg: deliver the fonts and map software the site uses.
These services receive your IP address and the request itself, as required to deliver their content. Each has its own privacy policy.
3. Advertising and cookies
We use Google AdSense to show advertisements. This helps keep the site free.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
